Not yet, I probably wont for a little while. I have 2 other cars in my shop right now. Once I finish tearing apart the 7MGTE I'm rebuilding I will probably start pulling stuff off mine/pull my engine. My only goal is to have it up and running again by spring. Not too worried about being able to drive it during the winter months....

You're more than welcome to come over when I start. It's nothing terribly complicated with the S2000. I'll start a thread when I'm ready to start tearing it down/pulling it out.

We should do a teardown meet at your place. I'm interested as well to see what your issue ended up being.

From the sound it was making, it didn't sound healthy at all.

I agree, We'll try and make it a group type thing. I'm just as curious too, trust me. It definitely didn't sound healthy. I can only imagine though that the damage was started by the previous owner. I've never over-revved it and I've never starved it of oil. Most of my miles have been highway miles. It just didn't make sense for something to happen. But I guess I've been thinking more and if the previous owner starved it of oil and caused bearing damage, it was only a matter of time before something went wrong. We'll see I guess. I'm going to be doing a little bit of work at the garage here to free up some space, that way we can all comfortably work in there. I may end up buying a rebuilt long block depending on my damage, but we're definitely going to tear this baby apart. There will be plenty to hang up on the tree of shame I'm sure...

Haha yeah I know what you mean, it's not funny that it happened, kinda makes me sad, but hey S#it Happens. So you just gotta deal with it you know? No sense beating myself up over something I can no longer control.
