Looking at getting the wife a new car.
Right now, she drives an 02 Protege5 with 50k miles. I want to get her into something under warranty. We are right side up in the loan and will probably get out of it with 1k or so in pocket. The Mazda has almost every option available, but it left us with cloth seats. It has 1 disc CD, moonroof, and chrome 16" alloys.
The car I'm looking at is the new Saabaru 9-2X Linear. But it'll have the Premium package (leather, xenon, and fogs), cold package (heated seats, heated mirrors), and the moonroof.
It will cost me less than $100 a month less, but I'll have 5 yrs to payoff instead of 2.
But, I don't mind being in a car payment for her for the rest of our lives. I figure, any car she has should be under warranty, and until I'm making MUCH more money, that will require monthly car notes.

You didn't say it had to be NEW!!!
Besides...your +1 said you were just rolling in cash!

And yah, my wife said we were rolling in it...sure.. I wish.
I'm having to lead her into this purchase even tho it'll REDUCE the monthly payments for a nicer car.

I haven't seen any prices on pre-owned TL's but I hope they are high... for my sake. Reliable they are, without a doubt. Wish I had some information about what you are looking at. You can buy our TL for 19K,
