Default Lease a 2005 S2000

Hey guys, I just received a phone call from a friend in Tulsa Oklahoma, and he said that Honda is making an offer on S2000s. You can lease a 2005 S2000, for 4 years, $2,200 down and $299 a month. If you pay 0 down, it will be $375 a month. If anyone is interested, PM me and I will give you the guys name and number. This is a legit offer. Has anyone else heard of this deal?

Pretty common lease deal going around right now. I've seen the same rates posted on Honda Tech, Honda-Acura.net, ClubSi, and just about every other Honda/Acura related message board.

I guess I just got a little too excited. As much as I love the S2000, I can't understand why everyone would want to get this car with this deal out.

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to purchase a dedicated Auto-x car/track car. Abuse it four two years, and then give it back.

There is an officer who is a weekend warrior like myself and he works at Accurate Honda and said there are 2 Spa yellow S2000s that they have had for a month now. He told me that they would probably let them go for nothing.

I've considered leasing, but I just don't think I can lease the toy....now I'd lease a daily beater in a heartbeat, but not the S. Too many plans, too much to do.

I considered trading my S in but after 2.5648 seconds, I decided that I would keep my toy a little longer. The payments may be lower, it may be a newer model, but my suzuka blue toy still redlines at 9,000.
