kumho mx..anyone else on this rubber
I got really tired of the kumho 712's and ditched them (even though fronts had 50% tread) Here are some pics... anyone else running the mx's what's your treadwear like?
So far my impression is that these have way more grip than the 712's... still a little greasy though right now from the release compound... only have bout 100 miles on them so far

A friend of mine had a set on his IS300. He did not like them too much when he compared them to his old tires (Parada Spec 2). I drove the car with both sets, and I really could not tell the difference. He claimed that the mileage wasn't as good, but think that he got fifteen thousand miles out of them. When I heard him complaining about getting that fifteen thousand miles out of his tires I snickered a little. I would beg for fifteen thousand out of mine.

I'm on my 3rd set of these. Performance is good. Treadlife is pretty short. I only got about 6,000 miles on my last set of rears. Previous sets lasted about 10 to 12k ... push 'em and they wear out fast.

I've been averaging about 8-9k on rears Had pirelli assimetricos that lasted a few k less than that s02's were about 8k. If i could get 7k out of these i would be happy... I like these better than the pirelli but haven't pushed them hard enough to tell if i like them better than the s02's

For performance I like them better than any of the other street tires I've had on the car (S02, S03, Yoko ES1000, etc.). If you push them much though they will wear out just as fast or faster than the S02s.

I purchased a set of Fuzion ZRIs for my stock wheels and I love em. I don't have a lot of miles on them yet, but they handle very well in the dry. Jim at Tire Rack said they do very well in the wet too. For the price, I would recommend you give them a try.
