Default I broke something Saturday

So...went for a spirited drive Saturday to check out the KWs. Long story short one of the wires to the shift beeper came loose and I hit the limiter several times. On the way home the engine and exhaust note changed radically.

I'm hoping it's just a head gasket but I put the car on the ambulance Monday on the way to the trauma center. No word as yet.

Fear not - Axis Betty will be restored. I'm just hoping I don't have to sell something to get there.

hmmm... hitting a rev limiter shouldn't have done any damage. it's why it's there in the first place.

seems odd to me.

48K and change. Turns out it was just a bad coilpack. Replaced that and the plugs.

The way it was running I thought it was much worse. But I guess if you're down one cylinder and you've only got four it will run shitty.

Nothing like an "easy fix". Glad it worked out that way!
What do you think about the KW's?
Did you install just the coil overs or go whole hog and add front/rear bumpsteer kits and/or half shaft spacers?

Please do.
I've been contemplating a switch to KW's as my next major mod - if a hard top doesn't win out first.

V3's are very nice.
I'm yet to know anyone who isn't completely satisfied with them.
