They've seen the error of their ways.......

I've never driven a Vette so I have no idea.

It's hard to explain. Vettes are in a class all by themselves. I guess it's where you are in life. You enjoy being seen in a vette and cruising, but once you get a taste of the S handling, cockpit type interior, VTECH explosion-it just takes you back to days gone by!

I'll have another vette one day-but right now the S is for me. As Amanda and I drove around yesterday she said to me- I like this much better than the vette. I glanced over at her- long luxurious blonde hair cascading gently over the slopping shoulders, and I realized, life doesn't get much better than this!!!!

What about it Brad?

1st off there's the whole "gas" thing... mine was a red '97 C5 coupe and it used gas while parked! I traded it in for my 1st S back in 2002 - I thought I had an '03, but I got some junk mail from Crest Honda wanting me to buy an extended warranty for my 02'. I guess the glass rear window threw me off on my model years - it did have the 9k rpm red line - so call it an AP1-1/2?

*my wife HATED the corvette*

Ok,

I am a member now!

I think the S2000 is a much better value than spending 55k on a Vette.

Jeff, congratulations and welcome. I agree with you on the value. With a son in college and a daughter that shows horses, it was easier to spend $31K instead of $56K.

Brad, Pete, Russell and these other young guns in the MC Crew are great guys. They can answer all your tech questions.

Welcome to the site!

Ripped straight from the pages of one of those romance novels.
