Default Guess it had to happen eventually...

My innocently parked S2k was sitting (innocently, stylishly - as is it's way) in the parking lot at work and was backed into by a Cavalier. Dented the driver side door, near the bottom. Lady is standing outside, crying HYSTERICALLY. "Are you ok?" I ask. "NO! I JUST HIT SOMEONE'S BMW!!!". Sobs. Bitter sobs.

"It's mine. It's a Honda"
"Oh..." sobs stop, puzzled look. "BUT IT'S SUCH A NICE CAR!!!!" sobs start again.
"There, there nice lady. These things happen." (...to me. Always to me.)

So, we shall see... no paint damage or creasing, but it's a pretty big dent. The dirt on the side of the Cavalier, however, was not even disturbed by the whole incident.

All of the above has given me rights to my own parking spot, and the possible opportunity to have a minor annoying paint issue corrected on the front bumper. There is a (sebring) silver lining.

Suck. Hopefully it'll get fixed and be just as good as it was soon enough.

Sucks - That was coo that you were nice though. No point in getting mad and she hung around to make sure that she informed whoever it was.

Yeah, she was the fiance of the new guy at work, and I'm sure it was stressful for him, too - so my thought was: they're both more upset than me, make them feel better.

So, in the past two weeks, I've been
a) pulled over on the way to work (on a Friday night, emergency call)
b) had a shotgun pulled on me by the police at work (long story)
and
c) Had my Stewie rammed in the parking lot, at work.

Quick analysis says: I am at work too much. LOL.

The Sebring Silver linings:
a) but he let me go - and loved the car.
b) I didn't get shot.
c) she's insured!

'Tis all good. Into every life, some suckage must fall.

When I was doing 3rd shift remodeling at local restaurants. The district managers would forget to put our alarm code in. We would set off all kinds of alarms all over town. Metro has pulled all kinds of weapons on me.
