See below for pic of actual item. Located near Vandy campus.

Thanks!
I have to ask, honestly, how hot does this sucker get? I had a leather wrapped one on my last s2 and I just need a replacement for the beat up one I have now. I live in FLA and I lose a little of my finderprints each time I get in the car on a hot day. Haha. Thanks for getting back to me.

Good question, but I may not have the answer for you. I never leave my top down to let my interior bake in the sun, so mine never gets very hot. It's slightly heavier than stock, so there may be a bit more material there to absorb heat. No issues here though.

I used to have this shift knob and loved it. Its one of the heaviest knobs out there. Its does get hot and cold like any other shift knob. Whoever buys it, will love it

Would you want to trade for a 5 speed engraving one?
I don't think I need a 5-speed knob, but if I lose 6th gear in my transmission I may change my tune
JDM RICE-if yours is still available and new in the box like Aralls, I will help both of you out. I would not mind having that shift knob in the 5 speed version......Lets make a deal/swap.

Thanks,

Rob

I'm up for it. However, mine is not new, but very lightly used. It looks brand new though. Let me know what you want to handle the trade. I work in Lebanon, live in Murfreesboro.

Sounds clean to me, I'll take it then. I live in Hendersonville and work in Nashville and all over. Lebanon is part of my territory while Murfreesboro is not. Let's see about aralls and where he lives and works and maybe we can find a common place to all meet.

I'm flexible on time, but am usually too busy to drive anywhere to meet up. I'm very close to the Vanderbilt campus.

Sounds like I can meet up with aralls one day and then swap with jdm rice another day. Hey JDM, does your work mind you taking a minute during the day? I will send both of you my cell so we can text day, times and addresses.
