Wish I could have made it. Im seem to be a slacker for these events. All talk, no show. I did sign up for SESM so maybe I will improve my record. If we get another detail event on a weekend, I might actually make it.

Did anyone take any pictures?

yeah - maybe Ill have to sign up for a simple clean to keep from the need of bringing anything.

Do you have a touch up package that just includes getting rid of the Highway Bugs and dust? My car is always clean, but the 2.5 hr trip, may need a Quick detail.

Absolutely, I have 25.00, 45.00, and 75.00 package depending on what you want done! Check it out on my site at www.padetailing.com under the SESM tab.

Thanks,
Matt

Robin,

I misspoke about the Honda JDM convex door mirror that I purchased from Muz. It is only the left hand side because, as you rightfully noted, the right side is already convex. Muz posting today:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&#entry10395957

I do have a new set of the Honda S2000 convex side mirrors, both sides, that are blue tinted from Import Tuning that I chose not to use. That is the same set you have, right?

I'm pretty sure it is Jamie. The (passenger) side mirror has the brand name "Level" inscribed at the bottom of the mirror. I believe the same vendor started selling this same mirror later on in acrylic but mine is glass.

Thanks for everyone who came out to the "wash/wax" get-together. I enjoyed meeting everyone, it was so cool having all those saweet cars sitting in the driveway. Also thanks to Matt for showing me how to "clay-bar".

Bradley, that was me honking at you Sunday.
At least I think it was you. Anybody else in your neighborhood driving a yellow Elise?

I was reading the posts above that describe a convex right side-view mirror. The point,I imagine, is to see who is in the lane next to you.
Your other post contains excellent information on placement of the mirrors. During our Friday get-together, Ravenwerk and I had a discussion about the convex mirrors offered by Muz and others. The key factor being the driver side side mirror on our car is just a flat mirror, while the mirror offered by Muz (and others) is far superior in that it provides a much wider angle.
