Default Free Exhaust!

Here goes:

I bought this 'custom' exhaust from another member here(not this subforum) and I installed it today. Its terrible in most every way. I don't much know what it sounds like because i cant hear shit over the drone across the entire RPM range. It hangs too low where that cross brace is, and there is only one hanger on each 'muffler', so it moves side to side and will burn/melt your bumper as is. Already did to mine in about 15min. NEEDS to have second hangers fitted and probably first ones moved.

What else... Oh, genius decided to take out the factory resonator. Brilliant! Theres also holes all over the joints of this thing. There is no baffling in the mufflers. It came with one that wasn't attached.

Why Am I bothering to post it? There are some very usable pieces on here if someone was so inclined to bust out their Miller and get some tubing. The Y joint looks great and the joint that connects to the cat pipe.

I'm in Camden, TN. Its just about a 90min drive from mid Nashville heading towards Memphis. I did pay money for this. But it really needs work, so I'm not asking for anything in return. I just don't see myself getting near Nashville anytime soon so it will have to be picked up. So ya, Free.

It'll come off hopefully in the next few days and my factory one goes back on. Whenever my friend and I's schedule aligns and I get use of his garage.

Post up or PM me on here with any questions or of you want to come grab it. I check a few times a day. Here are some pics:

Lol ya, I'm sorry too.

It could be much worse. The damage wont be visible from the outside. I got some clever wire and 550 cord setup right now to position it correctly until it comes off.

That right there is a kid playing with daddies welder! You can see where they changed wire speed more so then the heat, at least the argon was on

Still, would be an easy fix for someone. If I lived closer I'd take it off your hands, the place I work has close to 200 welding stations. Be a fun project for sure!
