Default Dyno Day Poll

Ok, I got off the phone with Air Cooled Classics and here is what they told me. We would need to purchase a whole day, preferablly a Saturday so the majority of us would have to take the day off.

We can purchase 6 or 8 hours and we would have the run of the floor mounted Dynojet. Its 150 bucks an hour so for 6 hours it would cost 900 bucks. This is including the A/F and a technician.

Basically, it sounds like the more people to go the cheaper for those worried about money. With 15 people (est.) each person would get about 25 minutes of on the dyno time and with having it the whole day we can make modifications between runs.Personally, I like the sounds of it as im getting an intake a possibily a few other goodies and can check gains between runs.

We would have to pay in advance and set a date so just lets get a count going of those saying they want to do it. Also, submit your requests for dates to see if there one that stands out. I was thinking March 3rd.

Is this exclusive to S2k's? You might have a better chance of getting 15 people if you branched out to other groups around town.

That being said. I can probably make any Sat. you guys choose.

Do we get to use their lifts to change parts between runs?

BTW, If you are planning on tuning your car, you are going to need more than 25 minutes.

I hope it's not S2K exclusive!

no not S2K exclusive anyone can come. I think one of my buddies with a cobra is in and another friend with a 95 Vtec prelude.

Ive decided to hold off a couple months on the tune. I want to mess around with some other things and put some money away so its on the back burner. Still very interested in getting the baseline though.

I dont know about using their lifts. If people are interested ill ask. Just let me know
