Default Drag Strip

Does anyone know if they have a drag strip around? I'm looking more for the amature type or Import Night. Let me know if you guys know of a place either in TN or up here in KY.

Beech Bend has a full 1/4 mile strip that's in Bowling Green, KY. Union Hill is an 1/8 strip just north and east of Nashville.

BB has test and tune nights on Saturdays. $5 to watch and $10 to run. I will say the way they run things up there sucks bad. The street cars typically get half the runs of the drag cars, junior dragsters, and other various junk buckets. I was up there a few weeks ago to watch a friend with an STi run. He got two runs the whole night. Granted it was busier than usual, but still two runs in 3-4 hours is sad.

Beech Bend isn't import friendly at all. I haven't been in years but I'm sure things havn't changed, but gotten worse. We use to get like 13-14 runs in back when I raced a lot. 2 runs is pathetic

Yes, Jason, I plan on running the S. I ran it in South Carolina all the time. However, I would only run it about 4-5 runs. I just like the looks I get and the times I make. I also ran when I had my 95 civic. It's a rush I love to get!!!
However, I want a place that isn't trashy or some back hills strip that someone laid down asphalt and calls it a track. The last place I ran was at Darlington Raceway in S. Carolina. I loved it!!! Thanks for the info guys. If you know of any others let me know.

Hey Mike. Maybe someday I may take the time to stop by over in Memphis. But the drive is so long, and I would have to spend a lot in gas...
