Does anyone know this car?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-Honda-...1QQcmdZViewItem
I know it's a shot in the dark but the reach of this site never fails to amaze me. I'm from Cleveland (OH not TN), this car is the right year, the right color combo and has the right mileage. But it sure would give me a lot more comfort if someone either knew the car or the dealer. In looking at the posted Carfax, it looks as if this was always a TN car. Many thanks in advance guys.

Looks like it has Beamen plates but it's @ LOOK AUTO SALES.
Weird.
I can swing by and look @ it. I've never seen it before locally or know of any owners.
What's with that weird ass email though ? Russian ???
maxima2002.ru ??

Yeah, now you really have my spidey-sense going off. Funny you used the word 'Russian'. Here in Cleveland, there are not one but 2 groups of Russians that have set up huge e-stores, each sell 50 to 75 cars per month, all high end Audis, BMWs, Mercedes, Lexus. Their prices are great and the cars look A1 but locally they have the reputation of being able to swap salvage titles for clean ones. I'd just hate to spend $18k and find out that the car was salvaged or wrecked or rebuilt, etc.

The car has NO gas in it and it failed emissions. It would take alot for an S2000 to fail an emissions check and the only reason I could think to run the tank that low is either cheapness or major repair...
These are red flags for me as well. If you get serious about the car one of us should drive it before you make any commitments. I'd also suggest looking for a car in the for sale forums on the boards. Flying out to get a car is worth the effort when you are sure of it's history.
