I know..I hope you don't think that I am ducking out on you guys. I am racing in Nashville that entire weekend. I thought that it was in August, but I was wrong. I will meet you guys at DBR5 in Sept./Oct.
I am just glad that you were able to get Jamie6 and Ravenwerk out. They never seem to be able to come out for our club drives.
BTW, I heard that someone crashed at SESM. I hope that everyone was okay.

Rob,
You have a Damon's next to the hotel as well as several places right across the road....Chophouse and I think a Logans or something like a Logans Steakhouse.
For such a tourist based city the town has a poor selection of restaurants that are non-franchise. So outside your normal "franchise" places I do not know of anywhere to go.

Excellent!! I looked up some places to eat around the Sevierville area, but couldn't really find a winner. Maybe we should meet at our hotel and decide from there?
I hope to be on the Dragon by around 11 on Sunday.

Saw you were looking for a non-chain restaurant for the outing in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area. If you don't mind a few extra bucks and bringing your own bottle, then check out The Hungry Bear Bistro. I wouldn't recommend a group of more than 12-14. It's small. We ate there once and food was great. Check it out at
Hungry Bear
or
Another alternative is Chef Jock's Tastebud Cafe on Wears Valley Rd. Definitely off the beaten path and again limited to small groups and byob. Less pricey than Hungry Bear, easier to get to and great food:
Tastebuds is at 1198 Wears Valley Road

I think the Hungry Bear looks more like somewhere I would want to take my wife. If the other is more laid back, then it sounds good to me. No BYOB for me when I'm driving, cuz Markers Mark is like Pringles, bet you can't have just one!!!
