clutch feeling odd
so when im releasing the clutch on my ap2 it feels like its getting stuck in the bottom and it also feels like it is lightly popping (in very short bursts) out instead of coming out smooth to the engagement point, I have no idea what this is (sorry guys I know way more about how an engine works than how the power gets converted through the driveline), and dont have the tools to work on it, I just want to be prepared and halfway informed before I take it into a shop....also as a side note if im taking a hard turn at slow speeds (such as in a parking lot) i hear this clunk clunk clunk but only if the clutch pedal is depressed and im rolling and it has to be a hard turn. any ideas on that? if it's rear end I plan on replacing that anyway. poor car only has 35k, but i have a feeling it was rode hard and put up wet. but for 15 grand it left me with some play money

Trying to save you before you start a thread " (insert dealer name here) Sucks ass they don't know shit about the S2000"
LMAO
PoJo would prolly be the guy to take the car too.....after you let us listen/feel what the hell is going on.

Read this thread as it could be your problem, https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=S...0#entry11623289.
I'll look for more as I see yours is an 04 and I think there was something different about those clutches.

Here is another link, https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=370792. This one has more photos if you want to do it yourself. If you do this don't forget to change the clutch fluid. Actually changing the fluid may not be a bad idea and a place to start.
In my previous post about the 04, there is a delay valve installed in the slave cylinder but I don't know the effect of that addition. Some have gone inside and removed it.

yeah those threads sound like it may be the problem mine has...but mine isnt making noise, could be cause it's my every day driver and he said he hadnt driven his in about a week, once again, I dont have the ability to get it up in the air safely without damaging the body and dont have the tools really to work on it.

If you want me to drive it sometime I might be able to at least give some sort of input. I had a blown diff in my 00 and know how it felt and sounded, also I've driven an S with clutch problems before. Pojo is the best person locally to take it to if you end up needing a dealership to fix it or etc.
