You mean the drive isn't USB or the Deck doesn't accept USB?

You just buy a cheap enclosure ,$15-20, from best buy or newegg and that has a mini-usb connection outside and a sata/ide connector inside. It must be a 7200rpm 3.5" laptop drive though. The large 5.25 drives from a PC need more power than the USB cable can provide. I've done this ton's of times. Usually you need to format the drive in FAT32 and not NTFS though.

Ahh, interesting. It is not a laptop drive, was used for my carPC project in one of my Integra's.

The small laptop drives take much less power to run. They are also much more vibration resistant. No one wants a hd less than 100gb so you can buy them cheap.
