Sorry, no bikes. This was Brent's response to my question about bikes and high hp cars:

"I can not do bikes. The roller itself weighs 1800lbs, and I am afraid it would put too much strain on a bike or it wouldn't even turn it at all. As for high horsepower stuff, I would be comfortable putting ANY car on the dyno. They rate the dyno at 2000hp, and, when I went for training, they said it would actually read anything that could keep traction on the roller. The second vehicle to ever go on it was a 2006 Dodge diesel crew cab pick up. It made 565hp and 1192tq. I doubt there will be a car to top that torque rating, besides the fact of it weighing almost 7000lbs.

The dyno frame is made of 3"x3" 1/4" wall steel tube, and all the framing we made for it is made of 2.5"x2.5" 1/4" wall tube. The ramps are #5 3" C channel with 2x2 1/4" steel angle in the middle on 8" centers (300lbs worth of ramp times 4). We built the ramps after a 20 ton equipment trailer. We took a 3000lb dyno (frame and roller) and added 3000lbs of steel to it. This made it very hard on us with all the heavy stuff to move around, but it gave me the confidence in it to put anything on it. The dyno sits on the ground, it is not on a trailer during pulls, ramps attach to it, with stands and pins for the ramps. We built trolley mechanisms for the sides that work similar to a pallet jack. This picks the dyno up on wheels to roll it in and out of the trailer, and sits it on the ground for transport and use. If I had a 2000hp drag car, I would not think twice to put it on here."

I might bring the S to this. Probably be sad to know what it really puts down, but would be good to see what the old 150K mile engine still has in it.

^You may be surprised. I've seen 100k mile engines put down more than low mileage cars.

will there be any barriers of entry for low cars? ie, will my front bumper get ripped off if I try and pull my S up?

His ramps are pretty long, so it shouldn't be a problem. I'll bring my homemade ramps to help just in case.
