There are a few of those spots in AL too ... heck in all the southern states ... rural mid-west ... Canada ... and everywhere else in the world.

just spent 2.5 months with a consulting crew from India in my office ... from what they had to say, it would appear that the rural areas there are not that much different than what one would expect to have found here in the states 30 - 50 years ago. They just have a larger continent that was affected by the communication and electronics revolution a few years later than this country was ... and they'll catch up faster than we did once it hits full steam there.
