Default Brake Question

Hey guys I am upgrading to steel braided brake lines and the lines I have didn't come with new Banjo bolt washers. Can I reuse the old ones or should I replace with new OEM washers?

I've reused them on other vehicles, but I know autozone sells crush washers for that specific application that you can just go get some there.

Good to know. Thanks guys. What about the 10 mm special wrench, box end with the hole cut in it? Autozone have those?

they should....most auto parts stores carry them. They're with the specialty tools. You may have to ask... Otherwise you could always buy a cheap one and use a hacksaw to cut your own slot.

What your looking for is a 10mm line wrench and all of the parts stores carry them. Also replacing the banjo washers is required....wouldnt want a leak induced failure because a .20 cent washer wasnt replaced. Just my opinion, Im no pro.....lol. Hope this helps, and I am here anytime just message me.

Thanks for the help guys. Autozone had everything I needed, except the superblue dot 4 fluid. So far 2 corners done. Got to the back and the Brake pads aren't correct so I am stalled till I get the right part number. I'll probly move forward with the brake lines while I sort out my pad issues.

I got EBC reds and the little aluminum tab "screech clip" on the inboard pad for the rear left is missing. Part number shows correct. There is a leaflet in the box that tells about a safety notice that there are two designs for this car one with and one without the tab. Really strange. other than the missing tab the pads are identical in shape to oem.
