I primarily felt the difference after I had run 245s for a long time after little to no time on the 225s, then switching to 225's.
It may have been placebo, but it felt a hell of a lot more planted.

I know I personally feel much more comfortable driving with 255's. Although I've only driven on 225 S02's, 245 Ecsta SPT's, and 255 Sumitomo's so I can't really account for 225's in the back. Well, except for when my tires got ROTATED. Hordes of grip up front and 225's in the back was a real trip.

Kyle -
Back before I knew any better (pre s2ki) I ran through 2 sets of Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s in 225s on the rear before I wore out a set on the front.
My take:
Much like Hobbs00S2k I don't think you'll notice a difference DD. If you want to get the car out of shape it's a little easier but still easily recoverable if you know how to counter steer. I had a lot of fun with it but I haven't tried that combination FI.
Bottom line I'd rather be riding on non-OEM 225s than bald S02s in the rain. That's really scary unless you enjoy 360s you don't intend to do.
225s all around (or any size tires all around) is not a good idea on an AP1 unless you're doing a show car.

Kyle, glad to hear you got some new tires. Hope they didn't look like this?!
Mary (my fiancee) got taken for a ride a few days ago. Rear end slid around on her on Alcoa and put her in a ditch (Mary and the car are fine). I know, I am ashamed for letting her drive on those tires and I still feel horrible. Normally when its raining she drives our beater but her dad borrowed it that day. We are both very lucky and I need to be more on top of checking her tires.
Hobbs, you didn't happen to autocross an Accord back in the day did ya?

Yeah the wheels are fine, just going to sit in the garage for a while. The stockers are going back on. They are wrapped in new tires.
The Evo is great, just ordered new tires for it today, hence why the Works get a rest.

seems like bunch of us are getting new tires.....
I checked the mileage on my current ones. Ive gotten almost 15K on the rears and they could probably get another 1 or 2K without killing me. not to shabby
