Default Anyone here know how to weld?

If anyone here has the tools and some time where you wouldnt mind teaching a newb how to do some light welding. I just would like to learn how to do something basic stuff, and since I dont know what Im talking about, I dont really know what I want to learn. Anywho, anyone?

First figure out what material you want to weld and what its for. That should help you figure out what type of welding you will want to learn.

For the most part yea its steel. Ive seen some very good ( albeit boring ) videos on welding. Unfortunatly I dont have my own welder and its been so long since Ive welded anything Ive probably forgotten everything.

Wish there was someone local who knew. Then we could have a "Welding and Fabrication Day". Oh well...
