Default All Season tires in Mid TN? Summer Only?

I'm going into my first winter with my S, and I'm in need of tires. Currently the rears are completely bald Falkens and the fronts are maybe 40% left Fuzion ZRi (yes, they were mixed on the car when I bought it). What should I go for if I intend to drive the S on nice days in the winter as well? Can I get away with "summer only" stickies, or do I need some Ultra-Performance All Season rubber if I want to drive when it's sunny but 25 degrees out?

On a semi-related note, if I do have to get All Season, can I take them off the rims in the spring to run Summer Only, then re-mount them in the late fall?

I drove year round on S03's and RE050's... just don't expect to go out in the snow or be prepared to drive like a granny if the temp drops too much.

If it's not your daily, just get the sticky summer tires.

Thanks Guys. The S is/was my daily in the summer, amd I see it as semi-daily in the winter. I have an old 4x4 toy I drive when it's nasty, but if it's clear, i can't seem to make myself climb into the truck...

So stickies then and FTW?

Yeah you'll be fine if you have a second vehicle for bad weather.
