Default 08 Accord

I know this is a S2k thread but i have a question about my accord. Hoping to see what you all think.

It has 18K on it, got it in Jan. and just took it in to Honda because rear brakes were making noise. They said it was normal but seemed like should have a little more miles on it so they did them for free. Started reading alittle online and the 08 along with they last few years have something called EBD (Electronic brakeforce distribution). So i guess the question im trying to find out is....is there some way around this so its not using the back brakes much. The fronts are like the size of my foot and the back the size of my toe. Of course they are going to wear out faster but i just dont want to pay like 200 bucks for a brake job every 6-8 months.

We took our Element i for a noise on the brakes as well. We were told that it was normal and all car brakes eventually make that sound. I told him none of the cars I had before made that noise. He stated that if you drive your car more aggressively then build up on brakes will not occur and sound will not be there. How am I supposed to drive an Element like a sports car? Good luck on whatever you decide on your car.
