06 SESM routes
Interested in helping with the planning phase for the 06 SESM runs?
If you are familiar with the area in and around the base camp and have suggestions for roads that might be considered worthy then your input will be most welcome.
A date/place/time (around the end of the month) for a skull session to hammer out possibilities will be set up as soon as I have an idea of how many might be interested in participating. If you can't make the meeting but still wish to offer suggestions then PM me. Everybody has favorite roads and nobody knows them all. If you know of any jewels in the area of interest* then let me know one way or the other.
FYI: the Dragon stomping grounds are not an option for this meet. The powers that be have decided to take advantage of the other opportunities this area has to offer. There are a few.
* shouldn't be more than 1.5 hours from ground zero.

I haven't driven it, but my son told me about a road between Wears Valley Road(321) and goes thru a part of the park and comes out near Metcalf Bottoms (halfway between the Y at Townsend and Sugarlands). I look at the Goggle map and it appears to be the road that changes names three times (Lyon Springs Rd = Little Greenbrier Road = Little River Road:

OK guys, it's official! The upcoming route planning session is going to be held at the Dragon Grill on Sunday April 2nd at 2pm. If you have ideas to contribute or just want to hang then drop in. Look for the table with maps spread out everywhere.
