The radios were really a blessing and a curse last year. I think we all need IFB-style earpieces and some sort of better microphone. I'm going to look around for a nice set. What I really wanted to do after last year's run was build a PTT system with the key on the inside of the wheel yoke, a-la general aviation radio systems. Unfortunately the cost is far too high. I did find a unique way to send the signal through the contact ring of the steering wheel, without affecting cruise control though! Pretty cool stuff.
I have a PTT switch for my steering wheel.

It works with Motorola but I think they have an adapter for two pin radios go to http://www.firefoxtechnologies.com/.

This is the headset that I use: Motorola Headset

here are the full lists of headsets available from buytwowayradios.com : Moto accessories

I agree. We should roll out from the gas station no later than 8:30, be gassed up, oiled up and ready to roll. I really don't want a heavy breakfast before the drive. I might bring something with me to eat in the room before we go. I will be getting up at 5-5:30 to wash the car and get ready.

1) It is a one of the best videos to get the feel of the Dragon.
2) It was shot from a bumper mounted camera on Caleb's (Kalibo) car and that is Ron (Blacknot) in front of him.
3) The video is deceiving and doesn't do justice in showing the "speed" they are traveling at.
4) Notice the line they both take (within their own lane).
5) You can hear Caleb's front tires squeal but this was mainly due to the quality of the tires and perhaps the level of tread. If I remember correctly they were General tires and not the ideal performance tire. (BTW, tire squeal is one of the things LEO listen for and will pull you over for)
6) Notice how Ron uses his brakes or more importantly doesn’t over use them.

All in all a great video of how to drive on the Dragon by two of our own. Enjoy!

Ps. FYI, The music has lyrics that my not be SFW or for children.

No, It is wired. You put a small Velcro band on the wheel and for normal driving it is fine. You wouldnt want to be going lock to lock with it in place. I simply take it off the wheel when I am maneuvering in close quarters. Here is a picture of it:
