Default Tires in Clearwater/Tampa

I am shopping around for stock size tires in the Tampa/Clearwater area. Can anyone recommend a shop and or good tire for standard street every day use? I know there is a tire section but i felt since i am asking about a local shop the florida Tampa forum would be much better for everyone involved. thanks

Alot of us use Tire Rack online and they ship pretty quick and can ship to designated installers all over. You should at least go up there because you can compare tires statistically and by review. Use their prices to benchmark shopping locally. You'll pay shipping (which is reasonable) but you won't pay tax!

Everyone has an opinion on tires. Personally I generally stick with Bridgestones Re-11, S04's...alot of guys up here like the Dunlop Direzza's just as well. All us 'Stones and Dunlop guys are sticky tire fanatics. And that is what you want with this car. Good luck!

I also got my tires from Tire Rack, they'll give you a list of different warehouses where your tires are located along with shipping cost. I got my tires in about 3 days. Most shops charge $15-$25 to mount and balance each tire.

Big Tires mounted my last set of tires a few weeks ago and managed to chip the coating off every single wheel in multiple locations. They then tried to cover it up with a sharpie. I wouldn't go there if I were you.

I believe Tire Kingdom does a price match with Tire Rack so give them a shot as well.
