Default Soft top patch

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone out there has any good places that you would recommend for me to get my top patched up REAL good? Some have seen my top and know how bad it is, but for those that dont its in pretty bad shape. I have tried duct tape as a temp solution just to keep the rain out. But it doesn't last long, and the biggest holes are in a very hard to reach area, so I'd like to just get them patched up so I can just be done with it and have a better time trying to sell this car!

I don't really know how much something like this would cost, but I can't imagine too much, so I really want it to be a good job because now I am getting a mildew smell in my car from the water that has gotten on the carpet. So I need this fixed ASAP lol. And I wouldnt care if it was patched inside and outside because it can't look as bad as it does now.

Thanks in advance guys.

A guy named Brandon from Color New did mine but it didn't last long before it started to spread.

Get some vinyl material and Goop glue and glue the vinyl side to the backside of the top.

It worked for me for some time. I replaced my top because it was starting to get worse and worse but this method works.

My top got slashed so I completely gutted everything to do with the soft top and mounted a hardtop. I have the slashed roof in my garage. I'll sell you the whole thing for $20 picked up, which would be a lot to work with. Let me know if you need it.

I may have to do that, that will give me plenty of material to work with! The only issue is I just don't know how I will be able to get it to stick to the area, because it is REALLY hard to get to. But I may just give it another try.

Any other suggestions are welcome!

I say you get the material from me then use this method. I was going to try this myself but just said screw it and gutted the softtop and put a hardtop. You could use the material from me then use this method S2KPUDDYDAD did. Let me know if you need it!

and the glue...Goop glue..is that like a rubber glue....i would imagin a rubber glue would be better to keep out water.....
