Default Questions for you golfers

Hey, I'll be in the Tampa area (Indian Shores to be exact) for the first week of November. Any of you golfers have some recommendations on courses? I'm guessing some days will be a 1/2 hour drive, maybe even more, which is OK.

Thanks,

Gary

Best golf is probably closer to the Orlando area. Orange County National, Reunion Resort, Mystic Dunes, Disney golf courses etc.

Personally the Finest Golf Course in Pinellas County ($$$)

It's a little further of drive more into tampa.. 15 minutes from Tampa Airport and it's one of my favorites without dipping into the super expensive courses...

Here's a few that are a further drive but probably on par with Innisbrook or succeed and offer a real treat.

Thanks, I'll start doing some more research to plan things out.

Dave - I don't disagree, but I'll be in Indian Shores near Tampa, not Orlando. That decision is made already.

Bardmoor is probably the nicest public course in the immediate area to Indian Shores. Ive played there many times and enjoyed it every time.

That area is a fantastic place to play "if" you are staying local to the area.

But, make no mistake, Lake Jovita (Dade City) is without doubt, my most favorite course to play in the Eastern United States. World Woods in Brooksville is a very close second. Sherman Hills in Ridge Manor comes in third. InnsisBruck over in Tarpon Springs is Top Shelf World Class.
