Oil change experience
Since I was going to go on a long cruise in my S2000 in a couple of days, I decided to stop at Palm Harbor Honda for a fast oil change on Saturday. They said that they could get me out in 1 hour and that they use only Honda Synthetic oil.
Well, after about an hour, I asked what was taking so long. The service guy said that they were out of the oil and was having to send out for more. Luckly for me, I was standing in the back garage bay watching my car, only to see the mechanic show up with generic "Advance Auto Synthetic Motor Oil".
I politly told the guy that and didn't want that cheap stuff in my car and that they were to use only Honda Syn-oil or Mobil 1 Extended Performance syn-oil that I've been using in all of my cars. I am sure that I would have never found out that they had replaced that generic oil instead of the Honda.
I took another 3/4 for the Mobil 1 to show up and they charged me $80 for the 4 quarts of Moile oil!!!!!
Needless to say, I was very unhappy with the 2 hour experience, I bought a Honda oil Filter from them for slightly over $14 to start doing it myself.

I use an oil drain plug from JS2K.com ($35). I just slide an oil pan underneath, reach down and make a 1/4 turn with the valve, remove the oil cap, and go have a couple of beers. Later, replace OEM filter (purchased online), close valve 1/4 turn, add oil. I recycle the oil (Mobil 1 SYN) at AutoZone.
