When replacing the HU in the S you'll definitely want to pick up Modifry's Dash Control Interface(DCI)
http://modifry.com/products/dci/index.htm
Allows you to contain the side controls with an aftermarket HU. So take in concideration the list and requirements needed to run the DCI(wired is best)

I just got back from tinting the windows (it's gonna kill me not to put the top or windows down for a couple days). Heading down to Best Buy in a few minutes to check out some stereo upgrades - if anyone has input on that, it would be much appreciated! Planning on exhaust and intake for sure, maybe headers, rims, and coilovers.
Thanks for the warm welcome, can't wait to meet you guys!
Not another Silverstone...........
Sounds nice, you will enjoy owning the S it is a great car and we have an awesome community here in the Tampa area. As you can tell from the posts you also have a very knowledgeable community always willing to help with advice on mods etc. You will find the community a great resource as most of us have done what ever you may want to try.

I've got some black silicone that I was going to put on the inside just to keep it from potentially leaking. Do you think that will work? What method do you recommend?
