Turns out my ankle is just a bad sprain. Nothing broken. looks like I will likely be parting a lot of it out to try to recoup $$ and alleviate the financial apocalypse.

Thats great news about the sprain! You might want to take a few days, relax and then sit down and figure out the costs and your driving future. Dont make quick and rash decisions, with a fresh look it might be better than you thought. But good luck anyways!
i do have to add a RIP to another ap1...you will be remember...

Glad to hear your OK. Honda safety is second to none. I can feel your pain when it comes to what happened to your S. I totaled my MYO2 on 3/1/11 hydroplaning on the Fla turnpike. I spun and hit the guardrail on right rear and while facing oncoming traffic was hit on frontend by an Accord. Airbag did not deploy which I considered a good thing because I was able to get the car started and get off the highway before the next wave of traffic arrived. I walked away without a scratch. I was more upset seeing my S in that condition (ever seen a grown man cry). Two weeks later I bought another, same year/same color with insurance money. I'm a '"HAPPY CAMPER" now. I still feel bad about contributing to the demise of an "endangered species". I hope all ends as well for you.

Thanks for the empathy, StartMeUp - I am pretty down right now. Seeing the damage in the daylight this morning made me nearly throw up, and yes... tear up. I've added some pictures of the damage to the top post. Nature builds a hell of a tree, I tell you.

Terrible news Ryan. Glad you are ok. Tree's are one of the worst things to hit. Surprised you wouldnt carry collison on a car worth as much as yours. Hopefully it will all work out
