Eibach sway bar set for 01 s
#3
I agree a front bar is all that's needed. Also depends on what size tire you are running up front. The Eibach works well with a 225. If you are running a 245 or 255 I would get something thicker

Why do you want sway bar? If you don't understand what tuning them accomplishes you may be hindering your performance..
What is your tire setup? Alignment? Suspension? It all has to work together as a system.
As others have mentioned, though, it is typical to stiffen the front bar when going to a non-staggered, larger front tire. Without the front tire I would leave it stock but I don't know your setup or what balance issue you are looking to remedy (oversteer/understeer?)

Thanks for the feedback guys and I agree with all of you!! Here is what Im running into, I kind of encountered with oversteer problem which i know its a very common for alot of early ap1s. Which I also know that the early ap1s from 00-01 sway bars are the stiffest besides CR compare to other regulars. However, I found out for 00-01 the spring rates on the front sway bar is 28mm about 393lb/in. rear is 27mm about 427lb/in. which might be the reason why oversteer because the rear is alot stiffer due to spring rate is higher. Im running on 245/17 square set up.On megan track coilovers, im kind of lost count how many clicks..but i know i set the rear softer than the front, which helps a little bit. My goal is to reduce the oversteer as much as possible but not to understeer. which either im gonna make the front stiffer or the rear softer. I do autocross and looking forward to go on track. I just heard alot of good reviews on the Eibach sway bar kit. But again, the Eibach kit is alot stiffer then oem even at the soft setting base on the specs. So now Im just curious if i put the full kit front and rear on. Set the front stiff and rear soft setting. How would that turn out. Please correct me if im wrong. Thank again!

Not a surprise you're experiencing a loose car with a non-staggered setup with stock bars. I would start with the Eibach front and work your way up from soft to stiff and find where you like it. I would leave the rear OEM for now.

Agreed. I have been been running a 225/255 set up with front Tanabbe sway bar and its perfect.
