The "at fault" insurance company called me!
They looked at my car and did an estimate, I have not seen it.
But, Honda promised me they will use 100% OEM parts bought through their parts dept.
I decided to check the website of the insurance company, Mercury insurance, and clicked on the "claims" link and guess what I saw...
is this whole thing some kind of weird joke????

Why did he have to drive it? could he not just plug in a diagnostic reader.?

They said in order to isolate the problem they had to follow some procedures set by the diag. computer. Including and not limited to driving the car at 45mph?...

If you had a CEL there is no need to drive the car unless they reset the CEL and drove it to see if it would come back. It is standard to drive any car you work on though. 3 years in Service at a Honda dealer

When I bring either car to the stealership for an oil change, it's nice to see a full printout of the car f/ someone else's eyes....granted, I notice if the car squeaks different, but it's still nice to see.
