ebeldesign - do you have a ZTEC carbon shield and does this clear with the shield? I want to order a ZTEC carbon shield and this bar, hence I ask. Thanks!

I've been promising these for a while now, sorry it took so long. To recap, this is my AP2 with S2X strut bar powdercoated with semigloss black and the logo plate replaced with a polished aluminum plate...just waiting for my S2X decal.

Wow! just came back from a clear night drive on my usual cruvy route and man, this is a major mod. if it's all placebo effect, then it's a seriously large placebo.
i'd like to hear from any others who have installed this mod to compare notes.
the front feels tight as hell (also have a muz x brace) compared to the rear. if i understand the terminology correctly, oversteer has increased as there isn't anything the front won't do. the back, however, doesn't feel nearly as stable. can someone give me a suggestion on how to plant the rear, please?
another insteresting development was looking down at the speedo and realizing that i was going way faster than i thought i was. this might be a bad thing, since this car is fun because it feels like ur going fast even when ur not. now, it feels like ur going fast, but it's strangely composed vs. stock. my bigest complaint about the cayman was that it was isolated and boring compared to the s2k. i tested the speed up to 100 mph and it honestly felt like i was going 80 besides the excess wind.
going over bumps is also much more calm and stable.
FYI it doesn't get in the way of the hood closing.
like i said, it may be all placebo, but THANK YOU SAM for one hell of a placebo. ive driven other s2k s with STB and it did not feel like this.

you shouldn't be oversterring. i think you oversteer because of your rear bald tires i saw or maybe cold tires?, but i'm not sure (oversteer = tail happy, fish tail, rear loose traction).
for me, i love this mod. i don't mean to be bias
it's no big drastic change but a great mod by preventing flex, tying the bottom & top together.
i think of it like this...on hard turns bottom & top swing together generate one movement.
