HKS MAX IV Features:
Single Tube Damper Design
Mono tube dampers allow for more accurate, stable control, and adjustment of dampening. The lower ride height and center of gravity provides a more stable ride.
Dust Boot
Protects the shaft from road debris.
PNE Coating
Special surface coating that provides 5 times better durability over standard galvanizing. This prevents build-up around the threads of the adjustment areas allowing for easier height adjustment.
"M Shaft"
With the new design of cylinder shaft, the HIPERMAX M-1 MAX IV has an increase in cylinder shaft size which provides a firm damping even at the shorter stroke range. Because of optimized oil pressure characteristics, a much better driving experience can be achieved.
Pillow Ball Upper Mount (SP Model)
For sharper and more accurate steering.
New Design Needle
Newly redesigned needle has been used to revise the low speed, middle, and high speed dampening which is key to a comfortable ride.
Reduction of Unsprung Weight
In order to reduce unsprung weight, brackets, ride height adjusters, and lock nuts are made from aluminum.
30 Step Damping Force Adjustment
30 levels of dampening adjustment allow you fine tune adjustment for street or circuit.
