Both videos on brand new RS-3 Tires, Same Alignment specs, nothing changed on the car except the suspension. Testing was actually less favorable for us, due to heat. Test day on Ballade Racing Spec was much hotter than prior video on Club Sports.

This suspension set up is mean for the average EVERYDAY weekend warrior S2000 owner. Our Ballade Racing Spec Dampers are critically dampened for low speed rebound and compression. Unlike your average S2000 coil over, we incorporated high quality Swift brand Japanese straight springs along with Swift Tender/Helper Springs to achieve full shock travel while keeping a stiffer 16kg/mm or 900lb/in spring rate. This type of design follows the popular European brand KW, Moton, JRZ, Eibach R2s. However, unlike these brands which use one perch for both spring height and ride height our Ballade Sports Racing Spec coil overs have independent height adjustment perch at the bottom of the shock, thus leaving the spring height and pre-load untouched.

I wish I saw this last week just ordered/installed a set of bc's, can you upgrade bc's to the ballade sports spec's if you already have them?

 

I'm sorry we cannot. The shock valving and internals are completely different from the standard off the shelf BC.

 

Alright! I feel like have finally have enough seat time to review this suspension setup from BalladeSports. First off, I would like to thank Alex and his team for the great work during the install. I can't wait to get back to the shop for some more S parts.

Prior to purchase, I was stuck between this BalladeSports BC/Swift Springs setup and a set of KW coilovers. I was very happy with my KW's on a previous car and initially thought I would go that route. That was until I heard about this custom setup tearing up the track at a fraction of the KW cost. The ease of adjustability also sparked my interest.

I can honestly say that I could not be happier about my decision to purchase these BalladeSports coilovers. The car is amazingly responsive and handles like it is on rails. My s2000 is not my daily driven car, but I have driven long distances with it since install. The suspension is comfortable even with the high spring rates. I have been running it at 8 clicks from max soft since purchase. There is plenty more adjustability in the 32-click window. The ride height that Alex pre sets is fantastic. It is night and day how much more aggressive the S looks and feels.
