I see what your saying but the OEM latches are designed to withstand impact and still hold (like an accident). There would need a tramendous amount of leverage and force needed to snap the latch off that way. Not to mention in an OEM HT that area is resessed further protecting the latch. Also the latch is angled upwards...which doesn't allow for any tools to be used to attempt to pry at it (in which you would need a long tool to even reach that area)
But that you for bringing up these important points!

Simple solution to secure your HT, pretty much no moving parts to cause any rattle or unwanted sounds, and easy to lock and unlock to remove, adjust, or switch out your HT whenever you need!
Best thing is you get to keep your OEM latches!

Production is going well, we made sure they were all made to spec and changed anything in the programing that wasn't right. The machining of the button will be done by next week. In which we will have pictures of, then anodizing of the button will take a couple days. Then time for shipping them all out!
S2Ki will be down for the weekend, if anyone has any questions during that time shoot us an email at Support@heeltoeauto.com

Update. We are finishing up machining of the button (the last component to the lock) and should all be ready by end of next week.
We had a slight delay in our shipment of our 7 pin locks...so we had to wait for them to come in before we could finish machining them and the button. But everything came in and we are almost there!
