OK this is going to be kind of a stupid question. I just finally got my tires and had them mounted to the wheels. My problem, they are not keeping air. All I can attribute this to is the valve, which is my question. How was it supposed to be attached to the wheel? The way I did it was the stem, rubber gasket, the metal washer going into the hole from the outside. From the inside it is the remaining rubber gasket and the 2 nuts holding everything in place. Is this incorrect? Please advise somebody and SOON, because now it is going to cost me more money to have the tires removed and remounted onto the wheels if this is incorrect, well might have to anyway I guess.

Well I just checked the stems and it is definitely them as I can slightly move them and the air is leaking slowly from this point. PHUCK!!!! Again please somebody tell me the proper way to mount the stem to the wheel.

The tire shop should be able help you with this without dismounting the tire. They shouldnt charge you for that at all, well I guess it depends on where you took the the wheels and tires. I know when I worked at Discount Tire that sort of thing was free to the customer...
