Genuine HONDA Access (Premium) mats for "LHD" S2k
#104
Interested in a set of red as well.
Was wondering if you have to drill into the floor. Cuz from one of the customers pics with the black mats on the tan carpets it looks like he has a hole in his floor for a screw or something? or does the metal bracket just sit on top of the raised section of the floor?
plz check pm.

Honda plan to unveil these mats in 2004 & put the pre-drill hole there for these premium mats.

I would like to know the answer to this as well.
"For all AP2 the brackets are designed to be screwed to the hump since there are predrilled holes underneath the car carpet already.
However, on the AP1 these holes are not there, could be drilled by yourself of course but its not necessary. I just laid the brackets over the hump without fixing them to the ground. They fit like a glove and don't slip at all with the mats attached."

here is a quote from a customer:

sounds good so just to double check. You don't have to screw these into the ground if you won't want to. You can just let them sit over the hump like you have done.
