Have you considered making the side window trim in vinyl rather than painting it on? I think the paint throws the looks off, because its so glossy. A flat / semigloss vinyl strip would look better in my opinion.

Is tinted lexan offered?

^I actually like that black border. I think it looks more professional in a way. I would assume though its to cover the glue holding the window in.Looks great overall, you should sell a ton of these Alberto.
I think maybe applying the vinyl from the inside surface of the glass will give a cleaner look like how challenge hardtop lexan/window looks. Either way this top looks great and should sell like hotcakes.
GUYS, THE TOP HAS VINYL ON THE OUTSIDE. That is the black trim you see.

I can personally remove these tops by myself at 16lbs. You can always buy a hardtop lift system from ebay.

I was looking forward to the release of this but for that price I would rather save up the extra $4-500 to get a real OEM top. I was expecting.a $1000 price tag for this. But anyways nice product. Im sure many people will buy this
For FRP, its only 150 difference. CF single, $+200 difference, Double, 450. No where near +1000.

Yes, the trims on the windows are laser cut flat vinyl already. I would never paint a plastic product.

Yes, it is a aerospace gray which reflects at 35% tint.

Its painted black around the window where the trim would be on OEM.

Alberto, does the Carbon version come clear coated to prevent yellowing?

Any pics of the CF top on NFR? Curious to see how it'd look.

Yes, the tops will be perfect in direct sun for over 4years. My mugen tops have been up for sale for 3 years with no problems.

I mean on the side windows, not on the back window. The black trim to make it look OEM was painted. Have you considered making that a vinyl cut out instead of painting that on?
