Are there any quality/consistency/finish differences between the vacuum infused and hand laid FRP, or is it just the weight?

And do you save on shipping if you buy it with a rear diffuser?

Consistency is the key work here between hand laid and vacuum infusion. When you infuse a product, you have equal amount of resin distributed and cloth throughout the hardtop while hand laid doesnt. Hand laid is hand laid cloth and resin.

Finish is the same but we have always had infusion tops fit 99% the same as real mugen top. Hand laid is about 95% which is still better then any other company that sells mugen tops here.

Infusion is about 18-19lbs and hand laid about 24-28lbs.

Yes, you save about 150 bucks if you buy a hardtop and rear diffuser.
