creaking and such you are still going to get with an authentic Mugen correct? I'm guessing but I'm thinking thats just something that comes with the hard top.

this is still not in progress. Unless we get a OEM top from a member here, the project will not begin.
Someone give this man an OEM top! Can you throw a guestimate out there on how much you guys would sell the OEM replica for? Would it be CF only?
lol

I believe we have one now thanks to a s2ki member. Once the project is started, I will post up the threat. We have a lot on our plate right now so I cant promise this project will move quick.

I go to school full time, work as a network administrator full time, and forbidden-usa extra full time. I did hire my younger brother who does all the shipping and now partnered with a cousin.

I hope there will be a Infusion FRP version of the OEM replica hardtop. I know this project might not move quick, but I am glad that we are going somewhere!

Little is okay with all tops sold. Since it is fiberglass and there is box roll, the top can flex.

Hand laid tops fit okay. Compared to vis fitment. My infusion frp tops, are the best fitting replica top in the market period. Tops sold here on s2ki are 95% infusion so reviews on a hand laid might be hard to find.

Just like I explain to all my customers, "Dont expect perfection, expect the best"

Its not going to be a OEM replica. More like a redesign. Its not going to change much in style but will change in the back. We are going to change the rear window to a mr2.

Take a look at the amuse top. Same oem style, new rear window. I personally like the bottom cf line and not have the rear window almost hit the body like oem.

Are the double sided carbon fiber tops full carbon fiber? Or are they infused FRP with carbon fiber surrounding it? I just went through all 42 pages and couldn't find the answer to my question...

Yes, double sided infusion is both sided carbon. Its not wet laid carbon on top of a infusion frp top. Infusion is a term on how the top is made. Infusion process is when the product (mold) is vacuumed out.

Woohoo. Gf just got me a hardtop from you for Christmas! Can't wait to install it!

Anyone sell a liner for these? Thing of lining the inside before getting it painted.
