Enkei RPF1 - SBC FINISH GROUP BUY - limited!

Hmm... how pinched would 255/40ZR17 Dunlop Z1's would be on these 8" rims? Also, would this introduce rubbing with this offset for non modified fenders? The 949's coming out this winter will not require any rolling.
I do know that 255's look okay on my rear AP2v1 stockers, but of course they are 8.5" rims.
Thanks,
-Dave

The outer lip of the 17x8 +45 would be about 0.2" farther out than a 17x9 +63.
The 255 on a 9" would be basically straight up and down, depending on what tire you run, which I assume you run a very aggressive tire for AutoX.
The 255 on an 8" would bulge a little bit as well so this might add up to 0.5" (assuming the tire is perfectly vertical on the 9" and you removed an inch resulting in 0.5" to each side) to the already 0.2".
If you tell me what you currently have on your car I can tell you how much farther out it could be than that and you could make the measurement.

Great info!!
I am currently on AP2v1 wheels (7"F/8.5"R) running RE01R's:
225/45R-17 Front
255/40R-17 Rears
I was going to go 255's on all corners with 949Racing's 6ULR's that are spec'ed to be:
17x9 +63
Thanks,
-Dave

255 on an 8 should bulge just a LITTLE bit more than a 225 on a 7. By about 0.1" on each side.
The lip of the RPF1 will be 0.9" farther out than the lip of the OEM AP2.
Then add 0.1" of bulge and you should be at exactly 1" farther out then your current setup.

Very easy way to test this, would be a 25mm spacer.
A 20mm spacer is what the 6ULR would be.

So... To make sure I understand you correctly... putting on a 25mm spacer on my OEM fronts with the 225's on them would be like having these special build Enkei's 8" widths with 255's?
This is incredible info. Thanks for all your help in my decision making process.
BTW, how much are these RPF1's going to weigh?
