I'm referring to the section that surrounds the seat that the string gets passed through.

If you look at it from the front:
* ______
* |Seat |
\|_____|/ <== Flap which the string goes here

or
______
| Seat |
|_____|
\------/ <==Flap which the string goes here

Just wondering which of the horrible drawings I made represent the way its supposed to be. Is the flap supposed to be flipped up or down?

When I pull the string tight, it tends to bring the forward facing portion of the flap downwards. But for the sides, there doesn't seem to be enough room to have the flap be downards (drawing 2).

I'll take some pictures later if this is still too confusing...

I think I get what you're talking about. Flap goes down so it's "wrapping" the seat. Yes, when you pull the string, it will bring the flap underneath the seat, which is where it's supposed to go, it's supposed to be out of sight. Make sure you tuck the flaps on the side well into the plastic seat bracket covers too.

Ahh I think we're on the same page now.

So where do you tuck it since there are bolts that get in the way in the side?

Also, I know that the top portions has a driver and passenger side. Is the bottom portion the same for driver and passenger?

You can take the screws off the plastic seat trim for a little more access then just stuff it in there as good as you can and when you pull the string tensioner it should flatten out.

The bottom section of both sides are identical.

looks really loose on the bolsters in those pics. Are your bolsters flattened or is the cover just loose there for you?

Can you purchase just 1 seat cover for the driver seat or has to be purchased in a set?
