hi, i would love to buy this but i have one question: how hard is the resistance to lift the tab and turn it. b/c i would have a fear of hitting a bump and the vibrations would slowly turn the valve.

The lever to open the valve is spring loaded. To open it requires two movements. A push and a turn.
To quote JackS, the lever will not open by itself.
