I do not know if this question has been covered since I did not read all 9 pages of the thread, but has anyone ever had a problem with the valve coming open while driving. Since the video really didn't capture it I was just a little worried about that being an issue. Seeing how everone is still ordering them though, I am going to guess that it is not an issue. This is something I believe I am going to have to pick up.

I haven't had a problem with it opening by itself and I doubt anyone else has. It's a spring loaded locking system that requires a very deliberate and intentional lift and turn.

Thank you. That answered my question perfectly. I couldn't tell if it was a very stiff spring loaded release or not from the pictures. Ok, well sign me up for one of these puppies!!!

Just placed my order. Can't wait for it to get here!!!

Yep, its astronomically unlikely that it would open, which is why they have a lifetime warranty that will pay for your motor if it is damaged.

I just got it in the mail. I don't have a big enough wrench for it, so I'll need to get one. What open wrench size (metric) do I use?

If you don't have a big enough wrench to tighten the adapter, you can thread the valve into the adapter, then use the smaller wrench to turn the actual valve. I'm not sure what size, but I'm sure a 14 would work on the valve part.
