that's how I've done it.

side note: I saw my cousin blow air (yes from his mouth) into the valve cover through the oil cap hole when we changed his oil. I was surprised at how much more oil came out. I haven't tried it yet, plus I don't want to look like an idiot.

that's what i have to do anyways with the lowered car....i'll just make sure to do it driver's side though. thanks.

he probably had a gunked up pcv valve. tell him to replace it; i'm replacing mine when i do my oil which is going to be soon.

Thanks for answering some questions for me Sarek.
Yep driving onto a 2x4 on the driver's side will get a bit more oil out even with the normal oil drain plug. Plus it will help it to drain faster.
