Default AP1 vs AP2 s2000 headlight options, LED vs. Smoked + Clear

As an official vendor specializing in headlight and electronics for the s2000, we thought we'd gauge the options of the many s2000 owners on here.

To read more on what we offer check out our 2 vendor threads here with more pictures:

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/963...om-paint-work/

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/964...e-honda-s2000/

We realize that not every option is for every owner but we build each set of headlights to suit the owner's personal taste. Some people love amber and we respect that. Others love clear lenses and thanks to Js2k.com they now offer CLEAR AP2 lenses as an option and we are more than happy to be their premier installation dealer. To buy the clear AP2 lenses contact Js2k directly here:

AP2 headlights in general are in high demand but we wanted to prove that with some minor upgrades and tweaks we can make AP1 headlights look pretty good.

here's a picture of AP1 inners painted jet black. One has our LED upgrade as well vs. the stock blinkers in the other one:

Installed they look very clean with the optional smoked lenses we offer:

For AP2 owners we offer quite a few options included the "naked" look here: (lenses removed)

Smoked lense vs. Amber stock lense:

Js2k clear lenses vs. stock amber:

A) AP1 Painted inner with smoked lenses + LED

B) AP1 Painted inner with smoked lense but no LED

C) AP2 Headlight (naked)

D) AP2 Headlight with smoked lenses + LED

E) AP2 Headlight with clear lenses + LED

Agreed. I really REALLY don't like the retrofitted LED's on S2000's. Looks entirely out of place.

Appreciate the comments, I guess these lights are not for everyone but after doing over 100+ sets of headlights clearly not everyone has the same opinions

Agree to disagree in this case!

The irony is most car's we've done have been very well received at shows, especially in person where the lights are not really visible when off, but turned out accents the car in a subtle way.

We have a few more sets of these lights on the work bench so will take more pictures as we go, in the mean time please vote!

looks so cheap and ghetto with the ebay led strip... only led's inside the headlights that look good are oem headlights from those german companies. they have a separate housing for the led's and they look good.
