Default Zaino Question

I bought some Zaino cleaner and stage 1 wax from the Barbers Chair in Square One. The guy I bought it from told me to wash my car with dish soap before applying as it has a degreasing affect that will remove any old wax that may be on the car before applying the new coat. I don't typically wash my car with dish soap and wanted to know if anyone else knows about this? Is this recommended?

Thanks!

I have heard this too. I think he's right, dish soap will remove any old wax, polishes currently on the car.

Yup...

I think it's in the directions on the paperwork you get from zaino as well if you order it online..

Dawn, I think was what I used before claying the car..

Dawn, then claybar, then throw out the Zaino and get a better sealant

M is right on this one, dish soap will NOT remove the entire contents of any carnuba or polymer. To start from scratch, dish soap and then clay bar to remove absolutely everything.

^ nope....

Dish soap wash
clay bar
wash
z6/spray'n'wash
pre-wax/cleaner
z6/spray'n'wash
sealant
z6/spray'n'wash

If you need to remove swirls, do that before pre-wax/cleaner...
