Default Zaino question

Hey guys. I know I saw pictures of someone's silverstone S after it had been waxed with Zaino. The car looked sweet. I want to buy some but they have such a large product line up, I don't know what to buy. What do you guys think of the product? Does anyone suggest something else? Also, Is there somewhere I can buy the products in T.O or surrounding areas? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Personally I am a big fan of polymer sealant type product which Zaino is. Homer2 is a local distributor, you can also buy it in Guelph where the Canadian(?) distributor is or at any Barber's Chair outlet in a major mall in the GTA. You need to get at least Z1 and Z2. Buying the car wash and detailing spray will not hurt either, both are great products imo. You will also have to clay bar the car before you "lock in" the paint. The objective is to get the paint to the best possible state before you put on the Zaino sealant.

Go to http://www.zainobros.com/ and read the whole site including faq's and tips and tricks. All your answers are there.

If you were talking about the silverstone S2k that was on the T.O. board a few weeks ago that was mine....SHWEET EH??

If your paint is in prestine condition like mine then all you need to order is ZFX, Z2 and some Z6.

If your paint is looking a little bit aged or has some swirl marks i suggest you replace the Z2 and use Z5. Also adding the claybar would be benificial as well.

Make sure you buy at least 2 bottles of Z6. I seem to go thru alot of it.

Good Luck!!

Oh...FYI.... ZFX completely replaces Z1...eliminates that first time consuming step..

I did the claybar on my 11 month old car. You'd be surprised what it took off.

Then one coat of Z2. The weather hasn't cooperated for the Z5 application. Black cars should alternate coats of Z2 and Z5. If you look at it the wrong way, the paint swirls.

What I did on my Black Prelude contains 3 easy steps!
1. Claybar the whole car
2. Z1
3. Z2

Basic, with not bad qualities.
